Kelsey
Host

Meet Kelsey!
What is the best part about being a trivia host?
Making people laugh and watching a room full of adults become way too competitive over random facts.
What is a skill, hobby, or passion you have outside of hosting?
I’m a high school English teacher, coach a Unified Bocce team, love traveling, play pickleball, and consume an unhealthy amount of true crime content.
What is your go-to coffee order, drink order, or favorite snack?
Coffee depends on the season: hot drinks in the winter and iced drinks in the summer. I have a major sweet tooth for coffee drinks, but when it comes to snacks, give me salty over sweet every single time. (Also, I don’t like chocolate, which people find very concerning.)
What is a book, podcast, TV show, or movie you are always recommending to people?
Anything involving a detective, a murder mystery, or a true crime case.
If your life was a movie, what genre would it be, and who would play you?
A comedy with a little bit of chaos… basically the Hulu show The English Teacher.
What is one business buzzword or phrase you absolutely cannot stand?
“Rigor.”
If you taught a 45-minute class at CNP University, what would you be the professor of?
How to Dominate Trivia Without Actually Knowing Everything.
If you had to choose an animal sidekick that speaks fluent English, what animal would you choose?
A dog. A loyal best friend who can travel with me, keep me company, and finally explain why they bark at absolutely nothing.
If you could only eat one specific meal from the CNP cafeteria for the rest of your life, what would you be eating?
Whatever comes with the most fries and the shortest line.
What theme trivia would you absolutely come in last place at?
Math. There’s a reason I teach words, not numbers.
If our trivia company was stranded on a deserted island, which host do you think would survive the longest?
Josh. He already keeps the CNP ship running behind the scenes, so I’m convinced he’d be the last person standing on a deserted island.
