The Basics

All Music Trivia plays a lot like our General Trivia nights but every round is built around music. These games are built for the people who love a little bit of everything. Not just one artist. Not just one decade. Not just one genre. This is for the music fans who can go from classic rock to pop, country to hip hop, Broadway to boy bands, and still have room in their brain for a song they have not heard since 2004.

Each game has 4 rounds and runs about two hours. We start and end the night with music clip rounds. Rounds 1 and 4 are where teams try to name both the song title and the artist. Each round has its own category, but across the full game we try to cover as many decades, genres, and styles as we can, it’s all on the table!

Round 2 is trivia questions, but every question is music related. That could mean artists, albums, lyrics, pop culture, music history, chart hits, famous performances, or whatever other weird music knowledge we decided to throw at you that night.

We post hints daily for these games too, so you can study up before you play. Check our daily 11AM schedule on our website, Facebook, Instagram, and app for hints to the music categories and puzzle round.

Same rules apply: no phones, no smart watches, no Shazam, no Googling, and no yelling out answers. Cheaters Never Prosper, especially when someone is pretending they magically knew the third single from an album they have definitely never heard.

This one is for the music fans who are not stuck in one lane. If your team has a little bit of everything, someone who knows lyrics, someone who knows artists, someone who knows old stuff, someone who knows new stuff, you are probably in pretty good shape.
