Scott
Host

Meet Scott!
What is the best part about being a trivia host?
Giving the people a show, especially when a middle-of-the-pack team wins it all after the Round 4 Guess Your Score bonus.
What is the best piece of hosting advice you have ever received?
Just relax and have fun.
What is a skill, hobby, or passion you have outside of hosting?
Reading. After narrating 30 books for Audible, being able to read whatever I want rather than what I’m contractually obligated to read is the best.
What is your go-to coffee order, drink order, or favorite snack?
A large frozen French vanilla coffee with no whipped cream from Dunkin’.
What is a book, podcast, TV show, or movie you are always recommending to people?
I always recommend either the Silo trilogy or Ender’s Game.
If you were a professional wrestler, what would your character name be and what would your entrance theme song be?
My name would be “The Apocalypse,” and my entrance theme would be “Raining Blood” by Slayer.
If your life was a movie, what genre would it be, and who would play you?
It would be a comedy, and Patrick Warburton would play me because his voice is amazing.
What is one business buzzword or phrase you absolutely cannot stand?
“Let’s put a pin in that.” No, let’s figure it out right now.
What was your very first job?
My very first job was as a paperboy. Always threw it right on the doorstep, son.
What was your favorite childhood cartoon?
G.I. Joe. Knowing is half the battle.
If you had a time machine that only worked once, would you visit the past or the future?
The future. I can research the past. I want to know what’s coming down the pike.
If you taught a 45-minute class at CNP University, what would you be the professor of?
Pronunciation and diction.
If you had to choose an animal sidekick that speaks fluent English, what animal would you choose?
A silverback gorilla.
If you could only eat one specific meal from the CNP cafeteria for the rest of your life, what would you be eating?
A big ol’ bowl of crab soup.
What theme trivia would you absolutely come in last place at?
Country music trivia.
If our trivia company was stranded on a deserted island, which host do you think would survive the longest?
I’d last the longest. I have plenty of pounds to burn away, and I could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves.
