What is the best part about being a trivia host?
I love having a bit of banter between teams or when the music round is awesome and everyone has a good time with it. But I think, mostly, I love when a team makes a great comeback and getting to meet some cool people along the way.

What is the best piece of hosting advice you have ever received?
Don’t try to host with somebody else’s personality. Host with your own, and it’ll be great!

What is a skill, hobby, or passion you have outside of hosting?
I enjoy running, playing video games, watching sports, and coaching youth soccer.

What is your go-to coffee order, drink order, or favorite snack?
If I’m at Starbucks, a brown sugar cortado. Anywhere else, it depends on the day.

What is a book, podcast, TV show, or movie you are always recommending to people?
Scrubs for a TV show, Your Move with Andy Stanley for a podcast, and The Memphis Belle for a movie.

If you were a professional wrestler, what would your character name be and what would your entrance theme song be?
With the number of create-a-character projects I’ve done in pro wrestling video games over the years, this should be easy, but it’s not… Since really over-the-top names have slowed down over the years, I’ll go with something a little more normal without using my real name. So Jaxson Riley or Riley Jaxson will do.

If your life was a movie, what genre would it be, and who would play you?
I’d like it to be a comedy, and I’d like Tom Holland or Mark Wahlberg to play me.

What is one business buzzword or phrase you absolutely cannot stand?
Ugh, they’re all annoying! Lol. “Teamwork makes the dream work” is up there, depending on who is saying it.

What was your very first job?
Working at a grocery store packing bags.

What was your favorite childhood cartoon?
Rescue Rangers or TMNT.

If you had a time machine that only worked once, would you visit the past or the future?
I’d visit the past.

If you taught a 45-minute class at CNP University, what would you be the professor of?
Sarcasm.

If you had to choose an animal sidekick that speaks fluent English, what animal would you choose?
A bear!

If you could only eat one specific meal from the CNP cafeteria for the rest of your life, what would you be eating?
Sausage rolls from back home.

Taylor Swift trivia.

If our trivia company was stranded on a deserted island, which host do you think would survive the longest?
Probably DJ. That dude seems great at everything!
